Alright, loves, let’s give this a shot.

It seems I’m middle aged (assuming I live to be 110) and living in the hills of New Jersey.  Just me and my man and two kids.  Angela is in her third year at University of Delaware and Jay is at Lenape wrestling (and formerly pole vaulting). I know, it all sounds a bit mad.

Ugh, I’m keeping busy lugging wood to the fire and now, and I build a sort of doggie run out back. But it’s a lot of work and lifting, and look at me, still no thinner!

Update (15 Jan 15):  These kids are actually destroying our marriage.  We are constantly played against each other.  I’m the strict one, who expects adherence to rules, accountability and consequences for bad behavior. Karl is the pushover, who routinely rewards abhorrent behavior and would rather let the kids make their own mistakes, and then suffer the consequences.

We can never agree on any parenting methods, apparently, and it is destroying our marriage, which is the most important thing.
